Myths of Chinese New Year - There are many myths as how Chinese New Year(CNY) came about. The most common one is that in ancient China, a big monster which is called 'Nian' would come out during the beginning of the year and start devouring people, animals and crops. 
Start of CNY Celebrations - Starts with a reunion dinner on the eve of CNY. This is where the family members will getting together and sit down for their most important meal of the year.
Traditional beliefs of CNY - No sweeping or housekeeping, children cannot be scolded, parents will avoid scolding their children, wear red or bright clothes and avoid black or dark clothes during CNY.
Chinese Greetings of CNY - The most common festive greetings are 'Gong Xi Fa Chai' (Have a prosperous new year), 'Sing Nian Kuay Le' (Happy New Year).












Concept
The concept of our blog is simple and precise. Our main attention is to introduce some traditional Chinese festival to all population especially for the others races and hope that more people can know more about the chinese culture festivals.
